McDonald’s, the world’s largest fast food chain
CosMc’s first store opened in Chicago, USA.
CosMc’s sells customized coffee and drinks like Starbucks and is a takeout specialty store.
The reason for opening a spin-off brand rather than expanding McDonald’s is that the afternoon beverage market is said to be worth about $1 billion.
Therefore, it is said that they plan to sell customized drinks, bite-sized cookies, and food that were not available at existing McDonald’s stores.
McDonald’s plans to increase the number of CosMc’s stores to 10,000 by 2027 and predicted that the number will increase to 50,000 stores in over 100 countries around the world.
